Living in Jacksonville? Which Side Are You On?

By SAM BORDEN, The Times-Union

There is a familiar routine that occurs almost any time I meet someone . . . and tell them what I do for a living. After answering the requisite questions . . . the person will then offer their opinion on what Jacksonville is REALLY like as a sports city. Typically, this monologue goes one of two ways:

A) “Jacksonville is a great sports market and it’s really on the rise! We’ve got the NFL and top-flight college football, the PGA Tour and pro tennis. . .

Or B): “Jacksonville stinks. No one cares about the Jags because they stink. The Gators [or Noles] are awesome, but everything else stinks. . .

When you live in a Jacksonville loft condo, you’ll find that you’ve got access to a wide variety of sporting events. For those who watch the game, there’s pro and collegiate football, tennis, golf and a little bit of everything else that you’d expect to find – from baseball to Nascar.

For those who would rather play, outdoor parks, tennis courts, golf courses and other facilities give you the chance to get out there and play – why let the pros have all the fun?

The western people love to make their vacation remarkable through different ways. Therefore different airline agencies are there to provide vacation airfare packages. For comforting yourself in a minimum cost the vacation buy packages provide the entire expenses and services list during your journey. Therefore mountain vacation home provides you their maximum services during your stay at their homes. On the other hand cancun vacation packages hold all the list of expenses in their different packages for your comfort. Similarly myrtle beach vacation packages allow different packages for your stay at different beaches, you want to explore. On the other hand maui vacation also provide maximum services and comfort to their guests.

Chances are good, if you’re a sports enthusiast, you’ll come down with the “A” group – you’ll love just how much is out there, but you’ll wonder how anyone at all could think that Jacksonville stinks, especially when you consider just how much more there is to the area than sports.

And besides, if you’re just not a Jaguars fan, it’s okay: you can go to see the other teams they are playing, or just kick back and watch a game at home – after all, your Jacksonville loft is wired for entertainment.
