First Coast Communities Let You Find Your Right Place

Friday, November 30th, 2007

There are people who know right away what place is going to be right for them. They know that the idea of a yard landscaped with palm trees and having an ocean view is essential for them. Others know that their right place is going to involve minimal maintenance, convenience to work and play and a modern style that just speaks to them.

Fortunately, for both of those groups – along with those who fall somewhere in between – Florida’s First Coast communities offer something for everyone.

For those who want their home town to offer a rich history, ocean views and beautiful landscaping, it only takes one visit to St. Augustine to find a community that just feels natural and comfortable, welcoming and, from the get-go, like home.

For those who just need to have an urban feel, Jacksonville may be the ideal First Coast community will be found in Jacksonville. Couple high ceilings, loft style living, easy access to the nightlife, the arts and places to work and play.

If you’re not sure which community on Florida’s First Coast is going to be ideal for you, why not take the time to visit and to explore? See what each area has to offer, take the time to talk with people who live there already and, when you’re where you are supposed to be, you’ll know it.

Experiencing What St. Augustine Has to Offer

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

When you walk through St. Augustine, Florida, you’ll find that there’s a sort of cultural beauty that isn’t to be found in nearby communities. The styles of the buildings, the rich colors, monuments, fountains as well as forts and more offer you a chance to take a few steps back in time.

Visit the small shops – in St. Augustine, you’re not going to find major department stores. Visit great restaurants – not chain establishments, but small spots with signature dished, outside seating and a great friendly atmosphere where those who are dining show that they’re friends with casual, comfortable conversation.

Spend some time at the museums or climb to the top of the nation’s 10th tallest lighthouse and see all that there is to see. Watch the birds, fish from the pier on Salt Run behind the Yacht Club. See why so many go back to Vilano Beach and St. Augustine Beach – either for walking the dogs, walking the shoreline to see the sunrise or taking advantage of the waves for surfing.

What you’ll find is that St. Augustine homes give you access to the best of what the area has to offer – and all the time in the world to enjoy it.

Does Your Florida Condo Make It Easy to Spend Time with Family and Friends?

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007

It’s that time of year again: the time where schedules are jam packed and somehow more dinner parties are held. Whether you’re preparing a quick meal for your family before heading out to the office holiday party or you are trying to prepare a great meal for all of your friends, one thing’s for sure: you don’t want to spend the time you’re supposed to be spending together alone in the kitchen.

With the right Florida condo, you won’t have to.

When you have a kitchen that looks out into your dining area and the grand room of your Florida condominium, you’re able to do the cooking and spend time with your family and friends. Sure, they may be able to sit back and relax while you’re cooking, but you won’t get to the end of the evening thinking that it had to have all been a dream.

Celebrate the Holiday Season in St Augustine

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

The holiday season which, now that Thanksgiving has passed, is now in full force seems to change everything – at least a little bit. We all end up hurrying around and adding events to our to-do lists; but we don’t begrudge it because there’s something magical about the way everything comes together. Some of that magic can be experienced publicly like this one:

(Source)St. Augustine – The grounds of the historic St. Augustine Light Station and the surrounding neighborhood will glisten with the magical glow of thousands of candles during Luminary Night, Wednesday, December 5, from 6 until 9 p.m.

Other magic comes from the way you choose to decorate your St. Augustine home. What will you change? Can you really make your landscaped property with its ocean views even more beautiful? What you do is up to you; whether you celebrate privately or publicly, whether or not you decorate it’s your choice.
